A rock garden plant grown for its bright colored flowers and attractive rosettes.
Native to the mountains of Oregon and California, this zone 6 plant has a wide variety of intense flower colors. Our hybrids bloom two to four times during the growing season. They need fast draining soil such as in a rock garden, but can also be used as a bedding plant provided sand or gravel is added to the soil. They are great in containers.
